Description

Das Naturschutzgebiet Moore südlich von Schönheide entstand 2013 durch eine Verordnung des Erzgebirgskreises.


Der in Karten bis ins ausgehende 20. Jahrhundert in Landkarten unbenannte, in der Topographischen Karte 1:10.000 Nr. 5541-NW-Wilzschhaus als "Hochmoorbächel" und im Gutachten der RANA "Purichbächel" (RANA - Büro für Ökologie und Naturschutz Frank Meyer: Naturschutzfachliche Würdigung für das geplante Naturschutzgebiet „Moore südlich von Schönheide“, Halle 2012 Digitalisat) genannte Bach entspringt im oberen Bereich des Naturschutzgebietes, fließt durch das Naturschutzgebiet hindurch und mündet oberhalb des Schönheider Wohnplatzes Altes Wiesenhaus in etwa 580 Metern Höhe in die Zwickauer Mulde.
