Description
English: Uncased tintype bust portrait of an older man with a beard wearing a dark coat over a dark vest and white shirt. During the Civil War, Pearce commanded the 1st Division, Army of Arkansas at the Battle of Wilson’s Creek. After the battle at Shiloh, Pearce was appointed to the Military Board of Texas in which he served until the end of the war.
