| Description |
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Archeological excavations led by dr. D.C. Geijskes, director of the Suriname Museum, on the manmade hill Hertenrits in West Suriname. People cut away branches and dig holes. They're lighting smoking fires to keep the musquitos away. They find skeletons and pottery with a.o. animal decorations.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd.
Archeologische opgravingen olv dr. D.C. Geijskes, directeur van het Surinaams Museum te Paramaribo, op de door mensen gebouwde heuvel Hertenrits in West-Suriname. Mensen kappen takken weg en graven kuilen, terwijl ze rookvuurtjes branden om de muskieten weg te houden. Ze vinden skeletten en aardewerk met oa dierenmotieven. |
