Summary[edit]

Description
English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented. – Harvest of sweet potatoes on the island of St. Eustatius. The green of the potatoes is eaten by a donkey and a boy writes the origin of the potatoes on a bag. The potatoes are transportesd to the coast and temporarily stored in warehouses in the Oranje Bay. From there they're taken to the coaster Antilla in a rowing boat. Because of the perishability of the potatoes they're harvested only a few days before the Antilla arrives.
Nederlands: Bioscoopjournaals waarin Nederlandse onderwerpen van een bepaalde week worden gepresenteerd. – Oogst van zoete aardappelen op het eiland St. Eustatius. Het loof van de aardappelen wordt opgegeten door een ezel en een jongen schrijft de herkomst van de aardappelen op een zak. De aardappelen worden naar de kust vervoerd en tijdeljik opgeslagen in pakhuizen in de Oranjebaai. Van daar worden ze per roeiboot naar de kustvaarder Antilla vervoerd. Ivm de korte houdbaarheid van de aardappelen worden ze pas enkele dagen voor de aankomst van de Antilla geoogst.
