Description

Soldiers are Joint Force Headquarters load equipment for Soldiers in the field part of the force packages on state active duty in support of Hurricane Florence.

Over 2,800 North Carolina National Guard Service Members are on State Active Duty for Hurricane Florence. Primary missions are preserve lives and property of NC citizens and visitors, route clearance, communication and cyber support, and logistics commodities distribution to Guardsmen, first responders, and local communities.

NCNG can support numerous other activities in support of local and state authorities like; Swift water Rescue Support, site security, Helicopter Search and Rescue, Helicopter Damage Assessments, Shelter Operations and Support, Power Generation and much more.
