Description U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District commander Col. Bill Leady visits Spring Creek Debris Dam and the Iron Mountain Mine treatment plant in Shasta, Calif., during the Water Education Foundation’s Northern California Tour Oct. 17, 2012. Leady and other speakers discussed innovative programs for flood management, groundwater management and salmon restoration while visiting Oroville and Shasta dams, Red Bluff Diversion Dam, the Feather River Fish Hatchery, Clear Creek Restoration Project and Glenn-Colusa Irrigation District’s fish screen and Delevan Wildlife Refuge.
