FDA’s 2015 Office of Regulatory Science and Innovation (ORSI) Science Symposium, held on April 27, 2015, showcased to FDA employees and the public, the ORSI-supported research that supports FDA's regulatory science initiative. This symposium provided the opportunity to increase scientific collaborations with government institutions, academia, industry and other stakeholders who are working to improve science, training, and networking in accordance with the 9 scientific priority areas described in FDA’s Advancing Regulatory Science strategic plan. Approximately 400 individuals attended in-person and remotely. The program included oral and poster presentations of: • Centers of Excellence in Regulatory Science & Innovation (CERSI) collaborations • Broad Agency Announcements (BAA) projects • Intramural research programs of the Chief Scientist Challenge Grants and CORES • Technology Transfer and Strategic Partnerships • Panel Discussion on ORSI program impact • Regulatory Science Student Competition Winners For more information on the ORSI Symposium go to: www.fda.gov/ScienceResearch/SpecialTopics/RegulatoryScien...
