Source These are files I obtained from Ancestry.com for proof of John McLean Revolutionary War soldier on the Connecticut line. He served from 1777-1783. His brother Jacob McLean served as well for the same time period. Men from Scotland to America to fight for freedom and for the promise of a land grant.
