| Description |
(1 in a multiple picture album) This is one of the few remaining buildings left in Grafton ghost town, Utah. Some of these buildings were used for a portion of the movie, "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid." Every time I see an abandoned building like this one, and all the overgrown vegetation I am reminded that we are intruders upon Mother Nature's ground. As soon as we leave, she will topple down the buildings we've put up. With water from above and green growth from below, she slowly tears apart what we have built. I also wonder about the lives of those who once lived here. Were their experiences good ones? What made them leave? If only walls could talk. |
