Notes | 4 clasps (restored) catching on to lower cover. Wooden boards. Vellum paste downs. Macchi states; ?Central Italy. Spine tooled with blind fillets. 4 raised double bands. Formerly in the collections of Charles Fairfax Murray, C. W. Dyson Perrins. Form the Congregation of St Maurus, Rome, with inscription in seventeenth century hand on the first leaf. The binding was repaired by Hutchins in 1907. | |||
