English: NASA's Constellation Program continues work on the development of the Orion spacecraft that will return humans to the moon and prepare for future voyages to Mars and other destinations in our solar system. This one-of-a-series artist's rendering represents a concept of the abort flight tests of the Launch Abort System (LAS) at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. This image shows the LAS separating from the Orion crew module.
