| Description |
(Notre-Dame-des-Champs) Rue de Sèvres This artificial wave pool was built in a group of 8 storey buildings in Art Deco style. Originally, it served as a private pool for the neighboring Hotel Lutetia before it was requisitioned by the Gestapo in 1940, during the occupation of Paris. Then it became a public pool after the war. Closed to the public in the 1970s, it has housed since November 2010, a Hermès concept store, which opened its first and largest luxury space on Paris left bank. Arch. Lucien Béguet 1935. |
