Só em 1514 Sabugosa obteve o seu foral concedido por D. Manuel I, sendo que este é datado posteriormente ao foral Manuelino. Situa-se no centro da aldeia, no Largo do Pelourinho, assenta em quatro degraus, estando o primeiro ao nível do passeio, e apresenta uma forma quadrangular de aresta viva. Sobre estes assenta a coluna do fuste cilíndrico e liso com vestígios de dois orifícios para ferros de sujeição. O capitel possui as datas de 1610 e 1640 em duas faces, com tronco piramidal liso com pendentes cantonais até ao topo e um tabuleiro quadrado que sustenta o remate. O novo tronco piramidal com uma posição oposta ao cesto do capitel, com faces convexas encimado por calote esférica, e uma esfera achatada nos polos.
