English: Alibates flint was prized as a material for stone tools because of its strength and sharpness. A skilled flintknapper could hone an edge on a piece of flint to make a deadly knife blade, spear point or arrowhead. Today, if you visit and pick up a piece of flint, be careful not to cut yourself!
