Second edition, with the addition of "The Flower-Garden for Gentlemen and Ladies" not present in the first edition of 1730. The plates for both quarto editions are reductions of Furber's folio Twelve Months of Flowers (1730). Peter Smith engraved the plates after the original paintings by P. Casteels. Cleveland Collections 377 (GC copy this copy); Dunthorne 114; Great Flower Books, pp.30-31; Hunt 493.
