Description

500px provided description: In 1853, the ship Carrier Pigeon wrecked south of Pescadero. In 1871 a lighthouse was built on the rock close to the place where the ship sank. Today, Pigeon Point Light is among the most picturesque lighthouses on the Pacific coast.


In order to get this shot, I had to get up early in the morning. When I arrived at the lighthouse, the light was just beautifully soft and warm. I shot for about two hours. This is my favorite image. [#California ,#United States ,#San Mateo County ,#Pigeon Point Lighthouse]
