English: Meerschaum pipe; obtained during Crimean war and presented by Sir George Grey to the late George Taylor .1 pipe- angular shaped plain meerschaum bowl with circular lip; silver mount on one side and short narrow threaded nozzle on other side; stem is missing .2 case- hinged wooden case with fine black leather surface; lined with red velvet one one side and maroon sateen finish cloth on other; case has broken at the hinges
