Pipe tamper- DUR-A9A825
Description
English: Cast copper alloy probable Post Medieval pipe tamper.

It is plain, consisting of a sub-square head (used to tamp down the tobacco) with a handle which has a sub-circular cross section. Below the head the handle widens to a bulbous section, before narrowing and towards the terminal almost becoming a point. The handle is slightly bent.
