Description
Nederlands: Plaquette Tweede Wereldoorlog NS, ontworpen door ir H.G.J. Schelling en dhr. H.J. Winkelman. Locatie: in het station van Gouda. De plaquette werd onthuld op 27 juli 1948 op de buitenmuur van het seinhuis van de NS te Moordrecht (voormalig stationsgebouw?), en in 1951 overgebracht naar Gouda. Tekst op de plaquette: 1940-1945, ter nagedachtenis aan den gevallene Cornelis A. Koster. Cornelis Antonius Koster was 1e seinhuiswachter van ploeg 7 te Gouda. Koster werd op 5 september 1944 gedood bij een beschieting van een trein toen hij de machinist voor het gevaar waarschuwde. (bron: Spoor- en Tramwegen, 17 jan. 1946 en aanhendievielen moordrecht
