English: A circular earthenware 'Maori Art' dinner plate with flat base, curved rim, wide flat inner sloping ledge, curved shoulder and flat shallow bowl; the whole surface covered in a bright yellow glaze, with a transfer-printed and painted traditional Maori design to the ledge and shoulder, a band of Maori inspired pattern to the outer bowl area (incorporating the word Kia Ora and a mask motif) and a photographic transfer print to the centre of the bowl, of a Maori woman and child. (as per card)
