Description

Photographed in torrential rain at about F2 1/30 second on slide film. You get the picture. I think trams no longer reach this outpost of the Brandenburg tram system. The out of focus sign on the grey building implied that it was a bit of a tight squeeze with tramlines filling the whole carriageway at this pinch point. (Strassenbahn in Gegenverkehr???) Route 1 to the Hauptbahnhof. Tatra KT4D trams were in used on several routes but Linie 1 was served by the Gotha style CKD Tatra motor car plus two trailers system at this time. [34III%20T2-62%201967%201988%20ex%20Schwerin%2034%201993%20verschrottet T2D no 161] was new in 1968 and scrapped in 1997.

Number 161 was new as 55 in 1967, becoming 16 a year later and finally 161 in 1972
