Description

Plaza de Iloca. Iloca es un balneario ubicado en la comuna de Licantén, Provincia de Curicó (Región del Maule, Chile). Se encuentra a pocos kilómetros al sur del Lago Vichuquén. Según el Censo 2002, tiene una población de 345 habitantes, aunque durante la temporada de verano esta cifra se eleva considerablemente.

Esta localidad fue una de las más dañadas por el terremoto de Chile de 2010, y sobretodo por el posterior tsunami que se produjo horas más tarde. Se habla de que un 70% de las construcciones quedó destruido tras la catástrofe.
