Summary[edit]

Description Multiple necrotizing granulomas simulating the appearance of miliary tuberculosis is an uncommon manifestation of Pneumocystis infection. The granulomatous response appears to be very effective in eliminating the organisms since very few organisms are seen with the GMS stain.
