Description
English:

A porcupine walking along the ground.

Porcupines, though rarely seen, inhabit the park. Look for bark missing on a cottonwood tree to see a sign that a porcupine has been around. These slow-moving creatures are masters of defense; their 30,000 quills rise off their bodies when they're threatened, and will give predators a snout full of needles!
