Description
Italiano: Porta provette per la prova di fermentazione del latte. È costituito da da una struttura parallelepipeda di rame, atta a contenere un cestello a tre ripiani, anch’esso di rame, con fori per l’alloggiamento di 20 provette (ne sono presenti 15). Inferiormente si trova un fornello a petrolio. Le analisi del latte, divenute abituali in tutti i caseifici dagli anni Cinquanta del Novecento, si iniziarono dal 1883. Prima il casaro, per rendersi conto della qualità del latte, non aveva a disposizione che i propri sensi.
