Summary
[edit]DescriptionPortrait of a Roman Boy Aristocrat (head).jpg |
English: Around AD 250-260.
Marble. The boy wears a tunic and armour. The portrait exists in five copies and he must therefore be a son of one of the Soldier Emperors. He may be Saloninus, son of Gallienus, made co-regent in AD 258 and murdered in AD 259. |
