Description
English: Lead steelyard weight of possible Roman date. Length 31mm, maximum diameter 33.5mm. Weight 187.61g. (6 5/8 ounces). The weight is bi-conical in form with slightly convex sides. At one apex is the remains of an iron suspension loop or hook. The surface is uneven, pitted and dented.
