Possible Saxon gaming piece side view
Description
English: Lead gaming counter o possible Early Medieval, Anglo-Scandinavian date. The object is conical shaped with 6 raised pimples on the top arranged 5 on the outside and 1 in the middle. Completely flat base. Similar gaming pieces can be seen on the database, <a href="../../database/artefacts/record/id/459113">SWYOR-21BDC3</a>, <a href="../../database/artefacts/record/id/445205">DENO-646EE0</a>, <a href="../../database/artefacts/record/id/433983">NCL-FC8D35</a> and <a href="../../database/artefacts/record/id/431432">NCL-CFFFC7</a>; all of which are dated to the Early Medieval period.
