Title
Post-Medieval Bell (maker's mark)
Description
English: Copper alloy bell made from sheet metal. The bell is in the shape of a flattened sphere with a separate suspension loop formed from a rectangular strip of sheet. Around the circumference is a band of five incised lines. Below this are two unevenly sized circular holes connected by a thin cut line. A maker's mark is stamped on the bottom of the bell, in the form of a two-pronged fork. An iron pea remains in the bell.
