Post-Medieval Tobacco Jar Lid handle
Description
English: Lead alloy and ceramic tobacco jar lid handle. Cast handle comprising a knopped plano-convex terminal, a waisted shank and a collared and slightly expanded lower end which is grooved to engage a lid of different material. A hard possibly ceramic material remains attached here. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1750-1800.

Diameter: 19mm, Height: 22.9mm, Weight: 13.85gms.
