Title
Post-medieval coin: 'Love token'
Description
English: A slightly bent silver coin probably dating to the later medieval or post-medieval periods (AD c.1450-1680). The coin has been rubbed smooth on both surfaces so that no detail remains on either face; such objects are often termed 'love tokens' and often date to the reigns of Henry VIII, Elizabeth I or Mary (c. AD 1509 - 1558).
