Description
English: Complete post-medieval copper-alloy wire composite button, formed of three separate interlinked split rings soldered together to form a knot. On the rear of the button is a small circular plate from which a looped shank protrudes. A similar example is illustrated in Read (2005), p97, fig. 387. c. 16th century.

Length: 11.8mm. Width: 11.5mm. Thickness (excluding shank): 7.8mm (including shank): 12.3mm. Weight: 2.5g
