Description
English: A miscast copper alloy buckle chape of eighteenth century date. The double-spiked loop chape measures 56.2mm by 36.8mm by 4.4mm and weighs 41.5g. It was probably intended to form part of a shoe buckle but was badly miscast and could not be used.
