Post Medieval lace tag
Description
English: A copper alloy lace tag or aglet which is probably Post Medieval in date. It is a sheet of copper alloy that has been rolled into a figure of eight shape, and which tapers to a circle at the point. It has a longitudinal seam along the back, and is decorated with two incised circumferential bands near the attachment end. Compare <a title="View details for NLM5743" href="http://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/12660">NLM5743</a>. Medieval lace tags tends to be longer and larger.
