Title |
Post Medieval spoon handle |
||
Description |
English: The terminal of a spoon stem, cast in copper alloy. It is rectangular in section, flat with no decoration, other than the three-lobed ‘trefid’ end. The 'trefid' feature gives it a likely date of late-17th century. It has a dull dark red corroded surface with traces of the dark green original surface. It is 69.9mm long, 26.2mm wide and 1.6mm thick. It weighs 8.97 grams. |
