English: A cast copper-alloy dress hook of Read's Class E type 2, dating to the 16th and early 17th centuries.
The fastener is roughly shield-shaped in plan with moulded-relief and openwork decoration and the hook extended from the tip of the shield-shape. The attachment bar is missing. |
