Title
Post medieval die
Description
English: A cubic, copper-alloy dice, probably post-medieval, c.1500-1700. The opposing faces add up to seven. Interestingly, the face with three spots shows them in a triangular formation, not, as is more usual, in a diagonal row. Also, the face with two dots has them in the normal arrangement of a diagonal alignment, but they are not centred. It is not an exact cube, measuring 11.9mm by 12.2 by 12.8mm. It weighs 15.03gm. See Finds Research Group, Datasheet 23, p.3 Nos. 12 & 13.
