Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Church was built in 1731-1736 by Johann Philipp Gerlach (Johann Philipp Gerlach) on the instructions of king Friedrich Wilhelm I (Friedrich Wilhelm I).

The Church kept the banners of the German army units that took part in the battles with Napoleon, as well as in the wars of 864,1866 and 1870 – 1871. March 21, 1933 here made Hitler, a speech dedicated to his coming to power. During the war, the Church suffered from bombing, but it was suitable for restoration.

However, the leaders of the established regime in the country under the false pretext that the Church could be used as a symbol of Nazism, ordered the destruction of the Church and on June 23, 1968 it was blown up.

I (Friedrich Wilhelm I).
