Title
"Alélaïde de Savoie"
Description
English: So-called Portrait of Marie Adélaïde of Savoy (1685-1712), but is probably a depiction of Élisabeth Charlotte of Orléans (1676-1744) with the mantle of the House of Lorraine.
  • Identification proposed by user Ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with some portraits of Élisabeth of Orléans (see images below), the presence of the cross of Lorraine, and the lack of physical resemblance of the sitter of this portrait to verified representations of Adélaïde of Savoy.
Date turn of the 17/18th century
