| Description |
Español: El 20 de agosto de 1969, el prototipo del bimotor IA-58 matrícula A-X2 realiza el primer vuelo (privado) durante quince minutos al mando del mayor Roberto Starc. Al día siguiente, efectúa un nuevo vuelo ante las autoridades de la Fuerza Aérea Argentina, de treinta y cinco minutos.
El 20 de agosto de 1975, aterrizan en el DAM Reconquista los primeros dos IA-58 Pucará de serie, matrículas A-501 y 502, luego de completar el vuelo ferry desde la Fábrica Militar de Aviones, pilotados por el mayor José María Ignes Rosset y el capitán Jorge Ignacio Igarzábal. Se incorporan al Escuadrón I Ataque (desde 1979 Grupo 3 de Ataque).
