English: Punakha Lhakhang It was built in 1637 by the founder of Bhutan, Ngawang Namgyal, It is located at the confluence of the Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu rivers in Punakha, Bhutan.
The lakhang is housed in Punakha Dzong (fort), one of the oldest and most significant forts in Bhutan.
