Description
English:

In 1891, Seattle's Rainier School opened in the Rainier Heights neighborhood with 422 students and twelve teachers. The area grew so fast that by 1901, there were almost twice as many students and twenty teachers. The school closed in 1940 but later reopened as part of Edison Technical School. The building was torn down in 1957.
