Description
English: Ramundersborg, a prehistoric stronghold from the Iron Age in Östergötland, Sweden.
Svenska: Ramundersborg är en fornborg på gränsen mellan Norrköpings och Söderköpings kommun. Fornborgen ligger på Borgberget som är Vikbolandets högsta berg (ca: 93m ö.h.) Borgen tillhör fastlandets absolut största och mäter ca 500 x 200m. Det råder delade meningar om borgen var en tillflyktsborg som användes vid oroliga tider eller om den hade fast boende befolkning, men den anlades troligen under folkvandringstiden. I anslutning till Borgberget finns även stora gravrösen som anses vara ca 1000 år äldre än fornborgen. Fornborgen kan nås till fots från Söderköping via en naturled över Ramunderberget. Det går också komma nära Borgberget bilvägen.
