English: The MG5 Market Garden tractor, produced by Ransomes from 1949-1954. This was the top selling British crawler tractor of the time. The engine was a four-stroke aircooled Sturney Archer of 600 cc, producing 5 HP. The gearbox provided one forward and one reverse speed. There was also a power takeoff.
This machine is in the Museum of Transport and Technology, Auckland, New Zealand. |
