Description
Deutsch: Richard König, Rauchwarenhandlung. Brühl 64/66 in Leipzig waren beides eigene Häuser der Firma.
Seit dem Jahr 1903 war das von Robert Schlesinger gegründete Rauchwaren-Handelsunternehmen im Besitz eines Richard König. Richard I., der Großvater des späteren Inhabers (75-jähriges Jubiläum 1978) hat seinerzeit allein chinesische Artikel für jährlich über eine Million Pfund eingekauft. 1910 betrug sein Vermögen eine Million Goldmark. Richard II., sein Sohn, machte nach dem 2. Weltkrieg ein Riesengeschäft mit Opossum. Richard III. (* 20. August 1928 in Leipzig), der Enkel, erweiterte das Geschäft beständig.
