Summary

[edit]
Description

A large number of birds were eyeing the ripe fields ready for harvest. There were maybe around 50 Tricolored Munias, 100 House Sparrows, around 20 Strawberry finches, another 50+ Baya and Black Breasted Weavers - all of them landing on the fields, taking chunks of the ripe grain and flying away. There were bits and pieces of it which fell out of the beaks and land on the dirt road. The Strawberry finches casually flew up to these and picked up one grain each and consumed them. They just didn't want to be part of the competition I guess.

Thanks in advance for your views and feedback Much appreciated.
