Description The former Red Jacket Hotel, which stood on the north side of Elk Street at the corner of Seneca Street (about two and a half miles from downtown Buffalo in what's now the Seneca-Babcock neighborhood) from c. 1845 until its destruction by fire in 1878. Now site of the Seneca Square assisted living facility.
