Description
Deutsch: Kurhaus Thalhof in Reichenau an der Rax (Niederösterreich) (Teilansicht), von einem öffentlich zugänglichen Waldweg aus fotografiert. Eine Tafel an einem der Gebäude trägt folgende Aufschrift: „Thalhof Der älteste Nachweis des damaligen Bauerngutes Thalhof fand sich 1652. Erstmals wurde das Tavernrecht 1785 erteilt und 1823 erneuert. Danach war der Thalhof in wenigen Jahren zu einer der bekanntesten Gaststätten des Ostalpenraumes geworden. Durch weitere Jahrzehnte zu einem hervorragenden Hotelbetrieb ausgebaut, verkehrten hier Kaiser Franz Josef I., Kaiserin Elisabeth, viele Angehörige des Kaiserhauses, sowie Künstler, Dichter und zahlreiche andere bedeutende Menschen. Heute wird das traditionsreiche Hotel als Kurhaus geführt.“
