Summary[edit]
DescriptionReplacement bouncing spring installed by me - the broken one is on the right.jpg |
English: Tower clock by J. F. Weule from 1906 in the Church of St. Johannes Evangelist (Gehrden near Zerbst) with the rebound spring replaced at the end of the striking mechanism.
The original bounce spring broke through rust in 2020 after 114 years. With half and full hours she endured 114 x 365 x 180 + 28 = 7489828 load changes between Resting load and falling load. The future corrosion-protected replacement spring rebound spring has been working well for 1 year even down to -14 ° C. I am happy to inform interested parties: tel. +4939247274, fax +4939247949928 or email ing-mueller@t-online.de
