English: Eight samples of wide ribbon. Background of plain weave with a design of interlacing lines outlined in gold thread. Highly stylized gold rose blossoms and scrolling lines form a border on each side. Both selvages present on all samples. Component "a" has interlacing lines of bright and dark red with gold thread accents.
